Biography: Born early February in 1962 Steve Irwin is a world redound T.V. Personality and conversationalist. Most known as “The crocodile hunter” Steve was born to a his father, a wildlife expert and his mother a wildlife rehabilitation specialist, owners and founders of the Queensland Reptile and Fauna Park. At a young age Steve became involved in his parents park, which overtime evolved into a strong interest in the animals he was working with. When Steve was nine, after his father died he began handling crocodiles, since his dad educated him at a young age. For Steve's twelfth birthday he got a 12 foot long scrub python, so as you can tell reptiles became his lifelong passion.         

            As Steve got older, he moved to Northern Queensland where he became a crocodile trapper. His job was to remove the crocodiles from public and populated areas where they where a danger to society, He did this work free with the condition that he got to keep them in his park. For years the park was a family business, until Steve's parents passed and then the park was left to Steve. The park was renamed Australia Zoo, and Steve continued the business. In the early 1990's Steve appeared on a television show, and after that he found and married Terri Raines. The footage that was shot at their crocodile hunting honeymoon  became the first episode of the hit series The crocodile Hunter, where Steve gained his fame.

            Steve's tragic death raised many eyebrows all over the world, at the memorial ceremony his daughter spoke, as well as some other family members. Steve died while shooting a documentary called The Oceans Deadliest, when bad weather stalled the shooting, Steve took the opportunity to swim with the stingrays in shallower water. Steve accidentally boxed in a stingray and was punctured through his chest to his heart when the stingray through up it's stinger in defense. Spear fishermen Ben Cropp told press, “It was a one in a million thing” and explained that the stingray was only trying to defend. Steve will be remembered as an amazing conversationalist, father, and husband.
